We are looking for multiple transcriptionists in New Jersey, United States. As a Transcriber cum Editor, your job is to accurately turn audio and video recordings into written text. This role requires good listening, excellent typing skills, and a strong command of grammar and language conventions.
Requirements:
- Proven professional transcription/editing background preferred.
- Ability to transcribe accurately with keen attention to detail.
- Essential fast and accurate typing for meeting deadlines.
- Strong grasp of English grammar, punctuation, and language norms.
- Effective organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Adaptability to various accents, dialects, and audio qualities.
- Prior experience in transcription tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe diverse content (interviews, seminars, meetings) from audio to text accurately, capturing nuances and speaker intent.
- Adhere to style guides for consistent formatting.
- Complete tasks within set deadlines, managing workload efficiently for daily and weekly targets.
- Collaborate with Team, Editors, Supervisors and Project Managers for project related queries.
- Review and proofread the transcript thoroughly to ensure high-quality output.
- Stay updated on industry trends and transcription tech for skill enhancement.
