Job Description:
We are seeking multiple translators in New Jersey, United States and other countries. As a Translator, you’ll bridge language gaps, providing accurate and culturally sensitive translations. Candidates should excel in their native language, pay attention to detail, and effectively convey source content meanings into the target language.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately convert written material from source to target languages while preserving original meaning, style, and tone.
- Thoroughly check translated content for quality and accuracy, making necessary corrections.
- Work closely with editors, proofreaders, quality assurance team and project managers for consistent translations.
- Familiarize with industry-specific terms/glossaries for precise translations.
- Incorporate cultural nuances into translations to reach the relevant target audiences.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Use translation software for enhanced efficiency and consistent terminology.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in source and target languages with a grasp of style guide, terminologies/glossaries, grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
- Demonstrated professional translation skills across various content types like entertainment, tour and travel, legal, technical, marketing, or medical fields.
- Strong focus on accuracy when translating the specialized content.
- Excellent verbal and written abilities.
- Understanding and adapting translations to reflect cultural nuances and differences.
- Efficiently handling tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Translation or Related Field or relevant translation experience would be a plus.
