We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager based in New Jersey, USA. As a BDM, you will play a pivotal role in end-to-end business development activities and develop effective marketing strategies. You will be seeking new business by contacting and developing relationships with our prospective customers. You will act as a first point of contact for our company.
Business Development
- Be a key player in growing our business by producing highly effective and personalized outreach campaigns via emails and calls
- Engage with prospects over email, phone, and other strategic networking channels to qualify and set appointments and meetings/demo calls
- Maintain active engagement with leads through informed, strategic, and creative follow-ups
- Partner with marketing and product to deliver effective messaging and identify the best customer profiles
- Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company— and share this knowledge with the wider team
- Build a solid understanding of the industry and sales process to spark meaningful conversations with prospects
- Update and maintain CRM database
- Achieve monthly lead generation and conversion quotas
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business a plus
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
Knowledge
- Inbound and outbound sales
- Extensive experience with CRM tools
- Comfortable making up to 50 phone calls per day
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
- Passion for technology and a desire to make a major impact
- A keenly developed competitive nature
- Software sales experience a plus
